Buescher State Park campground has 56 single family campsites and is located next to the lake and in a forested area east of Austin. The campground is set up in three loops and there are 32 campsites with water and electricity. Cabin rentals and group camping are also available.

Campground amenities include drinking water, flush toilets, hot showers and a dump station. There’s also a picnic area, picnic pavilion, playground and amphitheater. Each campsite also has a table, fire ring and grill.

The park offers a wide variety of outdoor activities including canoeing, kayaking, fishing, swimming, hiking, biking, picnicking and wildlife viewing.
