Cagle Recreation Area Campground is located right on the shores of Lake Conroe and just 45 minutes from Houston. The campground has 47 full-hookup RV (50-amp) sites set among a shady pine forest. There are 2 loops and each has campsites that overlooking the lake. Each campsite also has a table, lantern post, fire ring and grate.

Campground amenities include drinking water, flush toilets and hot-water showers.

Area Recreation & Activities

Outdoor recreation in the area includes boating, fishing, hiking, biking, picnicking, shoreline wading (swimming not allowed) and wildlife viewing. There’s also a nice 2-mile Cagle Trail for both hikers and mountain bikers.
