Cranes Mill Park has 64 campsites and is on a long peninsula on the southwestern shore of Canyon Lake in Texas Hill Country. The Guadalupe is also on the west side of Cranes Mill Park.
There 34 RV sites and 34 tent-only sites. Most campsites have water and electric hookups. Each site also has a table, fire ring and grill. Check in time is 3pm and check out time is 2pm.
Campground amenities include drinking water, flush toilets, hot-water showers, trash collection and a dump station. There’s also a boat ramp, two fishing piers and a marina (boat rentals, 26 boat-slip rentals, gas and supplies). Cell service is good in the area.

Outdoor recreation in the area includes boating, fishing, swimming, kayaking, canoeing, water-skiing, jet-skiing, paddle boarding, parasailing, horseback riding, hiking, biking, picnicking and wildlife viewing. Helicopter tours are also available through the gorge and over the lake.
Some of the local attractions include: Historic Downtown Gruene Texas, Natural Bridge Caverns, and the historic downtown New Braunfels.
