Enchanted Rock State Natural Area Campground has 35 tent-only (walk-in) campsites, 20 primitive sites and 1 group campsite. Some campsites are located along a seasonal creek and others at the base of the “enchanted” rocks. Most campsites have nice shade from large trees or shade structures. Each campsite also has a table, lantern post/food storage, fire ring and grate.
Campground amenities include drinking water, flush toilets and showers. There’s also a playground, day-use area, visitor center, park/camp store and picnic area.
The spectacular massive pink granite dome offers visitors some great hiking opportunities, but you can also backpack, rock climb, picnic, stargaze and enjoy the wildlife. The historic (German) town of Fredericksburg is 17 miles away and has a number of restaurants and shops.

I think camp sight 33 is gone, park said that they are getting rid of 4-5 camp sights in 2016-2017
All campsites were re-photographed in Aug 2019 so Enchanted Rock State Natural Area is all up-to-date.
According to the texas parks map, there are currently only 35 sites at enchanted rock, so if you are looking to check out sites the numbering here is not reliable.
Thanks Teresa,
We are aware that Enchanted Rock State Natural Area recently moved some campsites around, but the photos for campsites 1-35 (the reservable campsites) are correct. We will be reshooting the entire campground later this year though.
Howdy Campers,
We now have new campsite photos of Enchanted Rock State Natural Area. We reshot the campground last month!
