Lake Colorado City State Park campground has 110 campsites and 11 cabins right next to the lake.  Several campsites and cabins are water front with great lake views.

Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs. There are 78 sites with water & electric hookups (50 amp) and 34 with water hookups. Each site also has a paved park spur, shade shelter, lantern post, table, fire ring and grill.

Each cabin has AC and heat, electricity, 50 amp hookup, patio, picnic table, fire ring, microwave, small refrigerator, a waist-high grill.  There’s also two sets of bunk beds (full on bottom / twin on top) and restrooms with showers are nearby.

Amenities include drinking water, restrooms with flush toilets, hot-water showers, trash collection, a dump station, recreation hall, picnic area and pavilion, playground and a swimming beach.  Cell coverage is also good in the area.

Lake Colorado City State Park – Area Recreation & Activities

Outdoor recreation includes boating, canoeing, kayaking, paddle-boarding, fishing, swimming, hiking, biking, picnicking and wildlife viewing. Canoe and kayak rentals are also available. Wildlife viewing is also pretty good in the area.
