Martin Dies Jr. State Park Campground has 171 campsites (128 with water & electric) and is located next to B.A. Steinhagen Reservoir in Southeast Texas. The area is a popular destination for paddling and fishing on the Neches River, Angelina River and reservoir.
There are 128 campsites with water & electric hookups and 43 with water hookups. Most are resevable. Nine cabins are also available to rent. Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVS. Each site also has a paved parking pad (ranging from 40 to 70 feet), table, fire pit and grill. Most sites have nice shade from large trees and many sites are along the water.
Amenities include drinking water, restrooms with flush toilets/hot-water showers, trash collection and a dump station. The park also has a boat ramp/launch, boat trailer parking, fish cleaning station, fishing pier, picnic areas, nature center/park store, playground, volleyball court and watercraft rentals. Firewood is also available to purchase from the camp host. Cell service is fair in the area.
