McKinney Falls State Park campground has 75 campsites (all with water & electric hookups) and is located close to beautiful Onion Creek. There area also 6 cabins available to rent and 1 youth group camping area.

Campground amenities include drinking water, flush toilet, hot showers and a dump station. There’s also WiFi, a camp store, group dining hall, picnic area, playground, amphitheater and historic ruins to check out. Each campsite also has a table, fire ring and grate.

is located about 15 miles from Austin and includes a beautiful campground and variety of outdoor recreation including swimming in Onion Creek hiking, biking, photography, and wildlife viewing.  There are two large water falls (when the river is flowing well).   The campground has 85 campsites for tent/trailers/RV.  All sites have electric hookups. Six of the campsites have screened shelters and there are also 6 cabins available to rent. One youth group camping area is also available.

McKinney Falls State Park – Area Recreation

There’s a variety of outdoor recreation to enjoy including swimming in Onion Creek, hiking, biking, photography and wildlife viewing.
