Midway (Waco Lake) Overview

Midway (Waco Lake) Campground has 37 large single-family campsites and is located on the southeast shore of Waco Lake.  Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs. There are 21 that have water and 50-amp electric hookups and 11 with full hookups. Five of the campsites are tent-only. Each site also has a table, fire ring and grill. All camp roads and parking spurs are paved. You can have up to 4 vehicles and 10 people in each campsite.

Campground amenities include drinking water (water spigot), flush toilets, hot-water showers, trash collection and a dump station.  Cell service is good. There’s also a boat ramp near the campground.

Area Recreation & Activities

Outdoor recreation includes boating, canoeing, kayaking, fishing, swimming, water sports, hiking, biking, picnicking and wildlife viewing.

Other campgrounds in the area include Speegleville Park and Reynolds Creek.
