Mission Tejas State Park is located on the edge of Davey Crockett National Forest, and includes 660 wooded acres and a campground with 17 campsites. Group camping is also available.

There are 12 campsites with water & electric, 2 sites with water only and 3 other tent only sites (with electricity). A youth group campsite is also available. Each campsite also has a table, fire ring and grate. Campground amenities include drinking water, flush toilets, showers, picnic area, camp store, visitor center, playground and dump a dump station. Firewood is also available for sale from the camp host.

Mission Tejas State Park – Area Recreation

Outdoor recreation in the area includes hiking, biking, geocaching, picnicking and wildlife viewing. You can also fish in the small pond near the picnic area or along San Pedro Creek. There are also a number of historic buildings you can explore.
