Pat Mayse West Overview

Pat Mayse West Campground has 88 campsites and is located on the western shore of Pat Mayse Lake in the Red River Basin of Lamar County, TX. There are 83 sites with water & electric hookups. Each site also has a table, lantern post, fire ring and grate.

Campsites are spacious and can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs (parking spurs range from 30 to 90 feet). Amenities include drinking water, flush & vault toilets, hot-water showers and a dump station. There’s also a boat ramp, picnic area, playground, group shelter and swim beach. Firewood is also available for purchase from the camp host. Cell service is good in the area.

Outdoor recreation in the area includes boating, fishing, swimming, water sports, hunting, biking, hiking, picnicking and wildlife viewing.
