Bryce Canyon North Campground has 103 campsites that are in close proximity to the largest concentration of Hoodoos in the world. The campground is set up in 4 loops (A, B, C & D). Loop A has 30 campsites for larger trailers and RVs. There are 25 campsites in loop A that are reservable. All other campsites in North Campground are first-come first-served. Loops B, C and D can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs. Parking spurs range in size from 20 to 53 feet, but most are in the 20-25 foot range.
The campground has drinking water, flush toilets and dump station ($). Each campsite has a table, fire ring and grate. Also, Bryce Canyon North Campground is closer to the visitor center, general store, laundry ($) and showers ($). Cell service is good in the area.
Bryce Canyon National Park features the largest collection of hoodoos in the world. There are approximately 60 miles of trails to explore throughout the park. There’s also a scenic drive that traverses the entire length of the main park road (18 miles). Outdoor recreation includes hiking, biking, backcountry hiking/camping, horseback riding, stargazing, picnicking and viewing nature. There are also ranger programs, astronomy programs, a geology festival each July, and snowshoeing and cross-country skiing during the winter.
In addition to the campgrounds, facilities include the historic Bryce Canyon Lodge, visitor center, shuttle bus service, restaurants, gift shots, picnic areas, a laundry, showers and public WiFi.
Sunset Campground is also in Bryce Canyon National Park. It is also first-come first-served and has 99 campsites for tents, trailers and RVs.
