Bryce Canyon Sunset Campground has 99 campsites and is close to park’s popular hiking trails. The campground is set up in 3 loops (A, B & C). Loop A (campsites 200-249) is for trailers and RVs only (greater than 20 feet). Group camping is also available.
Generators are allowed from 8am to 8pm in Loop A. Loop B (252-271) and Loop C (272-310) can accommodate tents, trailers and smalls RVs (less than 20 feet), but no generators are allowed.
Bryce Canyon Sunset Campground has drinking water and flush toilets. The campsites have a table, fire ring and grate. A general store, laundry and showers are within a mile of the campground. Firewood, ice, food and supplies are available at the store. A dump station ($) is also located nearby. Cell service is good in the area.
Bryce Canyon Sunset – Area Recreation
Bryce Canyon National Park features the largest collection of hoodoos in the world. There are approximately 60 miles of trails to explore throughout the park. There’s also a scenic drive that traverses the entire length of the main park road (18 miles). Outdoor recreation includes hiking, biking, backcountry hiking/camping, horseback riding, stargazing, picnicking and viewing nature. There are also ranger programs, astronomy programs, a geology festival each July, and snowshoeing and cross-country skiing during the winter.
In addition to the campgrounds, facilities include the historic Bryce Canyon Lodge, visitor center, shuttle bus service, restaurants, gift shots, picnic areas, a laundry, showers and public WiFi.
North Campground is also in Bryce Canyon National Park. It is also first-come first-served and has 103 campsites for tents, trailers and RVs.

Just a heads up for other campers. We stayed here for 2 nights, just came from Yellowstone and Zion, and didn’t have any problems, will be giving them a great review! Within our first 40 min to this campground we were harassed by a park ranger. Only there about 5 min, still deciding if we want to drop the camper or not. I’m in the back still guiding my husband when this ranger comes up and starts saying no wheels on the dirt( mind u it was an extra small site) (And neighbor next to us was on dirt, they even admitted that) but we only have an over cab camper so no worries there but then he goes on to say we can’t be sticking out. I finally told him we r still in the process of putting in, Ugh. So he leaves we get our campsite set up and get the cooler going to cool down our refrigerator after the 11 hour drive from Yellowstone. He comes back knocks on our door and long story short, apparently there is a decibel limit on generators. We have a brand new generator and they already have set times. 8-10 in the am and 6-8 at nite. So he made at least 3 other people shut down as well. Now if your not going to let people use them then put that on your website! He said it was a federal law or something, well we had no problems at Zion or Yellowstone. Anyway, showers r a about a mile away, they had fencing everywhere throughout. Lots of rules, read about the firewood as well. Needless to say very pretty but not worth your money, stay at another campground!
Sincerely, not the best way to end your wonderful 10 day vacation.
So you booked a site too small for your rig and you ran the gennie outside of hours. The sites you book on recreation.gov clearly state the length and EXACTLY how to measure; they also clearly state gennie hours. Maybe try an RV park next time.
