Canyonlands National Park Needles District Group Campsites are located in a remote area of the park. There are 3 group sites with limited services and best suited for tents. Small, self-contained campers and RVs (up to 25 feet) are also okay.
The Dutch Oven group site has water, flush toilets, picnic tables and fire rings. Wooden Shoe and Split Top group sites have water, vault toilets, table and fire rings. Cell service is not available in the area.
Single-family campsites are also available at the Needles District campground.
Outdoor recreation in the area includes hiking, backpacking, OHV trail riding, mountain biking, canyoneering, rock climbing, picnicking and wildlife viewing. Stargazing is also spectacular in this area.
