Christmas Meadows Campground Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest Utah

Christmas Meadows Overview

Christmas Meadows Campground has 11 single-family campsites and is located in beautiful valley and next to the Stillwater Fork. Most campsites offer views of the meadows below. A thin forest of lodgepole pine and aspen trees covers the campground, providing limited shade. Summer wildflowers dot the landscape.

The remote campground is generally open late May to mid September. Amenities include drinking water, vault toilets and trash collection. Cell service is not available in the are. Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs.  Parking spurs range in size from 25 to 40 feet. Each site also has a table, fire ring and grill. Hookups are not available.

Other campgrounds in the area include Stillwater, Sulphur, Mirror Lake and Moosehorn.

Christmas Meadows Campground – Area Recreation & Activities

Outdoor recreation in the area includes fishing, hiking, backpacking, mountain biking, horseback riding, OHV trail riding, picnicking and wildlife viewing. Fly-fishing for cutthroat and brook trout is also a popular activity on Stillwater Fork, which can be accessed just outside the campground.
