Dalton Springs Overview
Dalton Springs Campground has 16 first-come first-serve campsites set among aspens and oak trees in the Manti-La Sal National Forest.
Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs. Each site also has a table, fire ring and grill. Campground amenities include drinking water, vault toilets and trash collection. Firewood is also available to purchase from the camp host. Cell service is not available in the area.
Other campgrounds in the area include Buckboard and Devils Canyon.
Dalton Springs Campground – Area Recreation & Activities
Outdoor recreation in the area includes OHV trail riding, hunting, mountain biking, horseback riding, picnicking and wildlife viewing. Newspaper Rock, the Needles District of Canyonlands National Park, and Edge of the Cedars State Park Museum are also nice day trips from the campground.
