Dead Horse Point State Park – Wingate Campground has 31 campsites (20 with electric hookups) on top of a mesa with spectacular views of the mountains and canyons. Eleven of the campsites are hike-in tent only sites. There are also 6 yurts (6-9) available (shared restroom, water, no showers). Campsites 47-49 are walk-to. Each campsites also has a table, shade shelter, fire pit and grate. RV campsites can accommodate rigs up to 56 feet.

Campground amenities include drinking water, flush toilets and an RV dump station.  Water is not available to fill up RVs. Check in time is 3:00pm and check out is 12:00pm. There is a maximum of 8 people per site. Firewood  is also available for sale at the Visitor Center and Park entrance center.

Dead Horse Point State Park is one of Utah’s most spectacular state parks. The view from Dead Horse Point is one of the most photographed scenic vistas in the world. Towering 2,000 feet above the Colorado River, the overlook provides a breathtaking panorama of Canyonlands’ sculpted pinnacles and buttes. Outdoor recreation in the area includes hiking, mountain biking, canyoneering, picnicking and wildlife viewing.

Kayenta Campground is also located in the Park. It has 31 campsites for tents, trailers and RVs. You may also be interested in Devils Garden campground (Arches National Park).
