Deer Creek Campground Sign

Deer Creek campground has 7 campsites and is located along the Burr Trail Road  in the Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument.  All campsites are first-come, first-serve.

Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs. Each site also has a table, fire ring and grate. Campground amenities include vault toilets. There is no potable water available at this campground. Cell service is also not available in the area.

Deer Creek – Area Recreation

Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument spans nearly 1.9 million and includes spectacular cliffs, terraces, slot canyons and rugged desert across the rugged Kaiparowits Plateau. Outdoor recreation includes in the area includes hiking, backpacking, mountain biking, OHVing, canyoneering and wildlife viewing. There are also some river rafting/kayaking and fishing opportunities in the Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument.

You may also like Calf Creek or Escalante Petrified Forest State Park.
