Devils Garden Campground in Arches National Park is open year-round and has 51 campsites located among spectacular slickrock outcroppings and sandstone arches. Reservations are accepted March 1 – October 31 and first-come, first-serve November 1 – February 28.
Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs (up to 40 feet). Each site also has a paved parking spur, table, fire ring and grate. There are no hookups. Parallel parking sites include 4, 5 & 6 (shared), 9 & 10 (shared), 23, 25, 38 & 39 (shared), 40, 49, 50, 51 & 52 (shared), and 53. There are also two pull-through sites (12 – small, and 19 – large). Campsites 21, 22 and 24 are near the “summit” and have spectacular views! Go for sites 46, 48 and 52 if you want to be tucked into the rocks.
Campground amenities include potable water flush & vault toilets. Firewood is also available for sale year-round. Cell service is poor in the area.
Visitors can enjoy incredible hiking trails including a 3-mile round-trip loop that will take you by many of the famous arches. Mountain biking is also world-class in the area. Other outdoor recreation includes OHVing, rock climbing, picnicking and wildlife viewing. At night, the stargazing is also incredible. You can also enjoy rafting and kayaking on the Colorado River (about 30 miles away).
Other campgrounds in the area include Goose Island, Granstaff, Drinks Canyon, and Dead Horse Point State Park – Kayenta.
