Diamond Campground has 68 spacious campsites along the Diamond Fork Stream and among shady cottonwoods and willow trees. Wanrhodes Creek also runs through the campground.
The campsites have a mix of single-family, double-family and walk-to tent sites. The walk-to sites are 58 to 61 (ranging from 50 to 250 feet). Group campsites are also a few miles up the canyon.
Campground amenities include drinking water, vault toilets and trash collection. Each campsite also has a cement parking pad, table, fire ring and grill. Firewood is available to purchase from the camp host. Cell service is fair in the area.
Group sites have picnic shelters, tables, campfire rings, grills, water spigots and large parking areas. Sites 1A and B are about 2 miles beyond the family campground and sites 3-6 are a mile beyond that.
Outdoor recreation in the area includes fishing, hiking, mountain biking, picnicking and wildlife viewing.
Fifth Water Hot Springs is also a popular attraction. A 2.5-mile trail rewards hikers with scenic views and several hot springs pools of varying temperatures.
Other campgrounds in the area include Balsam and Cherry.
