Drinks Canyon Campground has 17 sites set along the banks of the scenic Colorado River in a spectacular canyon with soaring sandstone cliffs. Most of the sites are best for tents, but some can handle small trailers and RVs. Each campsite also has a table, fire ring and grate. There are vault toilets, but no drinking water. Cell service is poor in the area.
The campground offers Moab’s unique combination of beautiful red rock scenery, along with the cool waters of the Colorado River. You can use it as a base camp for world famous mountain biking, hiking, four wheel driving, or river expeditions of any length and experience level. Other recreation includes kayaking, canoeing, fishing and wildlife viewing.
Other campgrounds in the area include Big Bend, Upper Big Bend, Hal Canyon, Granstaff, Goose Island and Oak Grove.
