Duck Creek Campground has 97 campsites (80 single, 7 double and 4 group) and is located adjacent to Duck Creek Pond and Duck Creek in Dixie National Forest. The campground has many ponderosa pine, douglas fir and aspen trees that provide nice shade to most sites.
Campground amenities include drinking water, vault and flush toilets, trash collection and an RV dump station. Firewood is also available to purchase from the camp host. Cell service is poor in the area. Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs. Each site also has a parking spur (ranging in size from 30 to 60 feet0, table, fire ring and grill. Hookups are not available.
There is a OHV parking area that is located on the northeast corner in Loop D between campsites 89 and 90. OHV’s including street legal are allowed to ride from your campsite to the trail located in the D loop and back to your campsite only. OHV’s are only allowed in the C, D and E Loops.
The Duck Creek Visitor Center is also across the road from the campground with trail maps and information on the surrounding scenic area.
Duck Creek Pond offers great fishing for rainbow, brook, brown and cutthroat trout. The Markagunt ATV Trail System can also be accessed from within the campground. It offers 300 miles of ATV/OHV routes and trails for riders of all skill levels. Other activities include hiking, mountain biking, hunting, picnicking, stargazing and wildlife viewing.
You may also consider visiting Zion National Park. Cedar Canyon, Spruces Campground and Navajo Lake Campground are also nearby.
