Great Salt Lake State Park Campground is located right next to the lake and has 5 RV sites with water and electric hookups. Two primitive beach (tent only) walk-to campsites are also available. All of the campsites have spectacular views of the lake and surrounding area.
Camping is open year-round and all campsites are reservable. RV campsites have paved parking spurs up to 40 feet. Campsites 1-4 have water and electric hookups and site #5 has full hookups (AC110, 30 amp and 50 amp). The 2 primitive campsites have a designated fire pit. Campfires are allowed in designated fire pits but firewood is not available to purchase.
Campground/park amenities include drinking water, flush toilets, outdoor showers, a dump station and trash collection. There’s also a visitor center, marina, boat ramp, snack bar/concessions and picnic areas. Cell service is good in the area.
You might also like Willard Bay State Park about an hour away (north of Ogden, UT).
Outdoor recreation in the area includes boating, swimming, water sports, canoeing, kayaking, paddle-boarding, sailing, hiking, biking, picnicking and wildlife viewing.
