Hanging Rock Campground has 6 spacious campsites and is located next to the Beaver River and near Minersville Reservoir. It is also located just off of Highway 21 between the towns of Beaver and Minerville, UT.
Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs. Hookups are not available. Sites 1, 2, 5, and 6 have pavilions. Each site also has a table, fire ring and grill. Camp roads and parking spurs are dirt.
Campsite #1 can have up to 30 people, campsites #2 and #6 up to 10 people and the others up to 8 people.
The campground is open year round. Amenities include vault toilets. Drinking water and trash collection are not available.
Other campgrounds in the area include Minersville (a Beaver County Park), Little Cottonwood, Mahogany Cove, Little Reservoir and Kents Lake.
Outdoor recreation in the area includes hiking, mountain biking, fishing, ATV trail riding, swimming, tubing, star gazing, picnicking and wildlife viewing. The Paiute ATV Trail and Beaver Bench Mountain Bike Trail System are located just down the road in Beaver, UT.
