Kens Lake campground is located 10 miles south of Moab and its 46 campsites offer a great basecamp to explore the Moab area and nearby Arches and Canyonlands National parks. The views from the campground feature the La Sal Mountains and the redrock fins surrounding Moab. There are also two reservable group campsites. Most campsites at quite large and can accommodate tents, trailers and just about any size RV. Each campsite has a table, fire ring and grill.
The campground roads and parking pads are gravel. There is no water (so bring your own), but it does have fancy vault toilets and picnic tables. There are also no electric hookups. Group site A has a shade shelter and horse corral. Some cell service is available in the area.
Outdoor enthusiasts will love all there is to do in the area including: mountain biking, hiking, horseback riding, OHVing, boating, fishing, swimming, whitewater rafting, kayaking and wildlife viewing. Outfitters in nearby Moab offer a variety of tours and rentals. You’ll also find dining, shopping and additional lodging at Moab.
Arches and Canyonlands National Parks and Hovenweep and Natural Bridges National Monuments are nearby. Also in the area are the Manti-La Sal National Forest and the La Sal Mountain Loop Road, which provide interesting exploration opportunities and cooler temperatures during the summer months.
You may also be interested in the Needles District campground in Canyonlands National Park. Warner Lake Campground is also about 8 miles away.

I am interested in a reservation for a motorhome. Site keeps taking me to Moonflower lake. Do you have spaces at Kens Lake?
Hi Larry,
Thanks for pointing out the reservation link going to Moonflower Lake. Kens Lake is first-come, first-serve, but the group camping is reservable (2 sites). If you’re interested in reserving one of those you can click HERE.
I have reserved site 19 and was looking for a map to show me where it is in the campground.. Do you have such a map?
HI Steve,
You can click on the ‘Campground Map’ button to see where campsite #19 is located in the campground.
