Magpie Campground has 10 campsites and is located in a heavily wooded area next to the South Fork Ogden River. There are 8 single-family sites and 3 double-family sites.

Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs. Each site also has a table, cement table pad, fire ring and grill. Amenities include drinking water, vault toilets and trash collection. Cell service is poor in the area.

Area Recreation & Activities

Outdoor recreation in the area includes fishing, hiking, mountain biking, swimming, tubing, picnicking and wildlife viewing.

Other campgrounds in the area include South Fork, Upper Meadows, Lower Meadows, Botts, Perception Park and Willows.

    • Hi Marsha,
      Magpie Campground is open now (it usually opens Mid May and closes Mid September). You can click on the ‘Make A Reservation’ button to check availability, pricing and make a reservation.
