North Klondike Campground Utah

North Klondike Overview

North Klondike Campground has 27 campsites (including 2 group sites) located in a high-desert setting next to the North Klondike mountain bike trail system.

The 25 single-family campsites are first-come, first-serve, and the 2 group sites are reservable. The campground is open year-round. Amenities include vault toilets and trash collection. Potable (drinking) water is not available and cell service is fair. Firewood is also available to purchase from the camp host (spring and fall).

Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs (up to 35 feet). Each site also has a gravel parking area, table, fire ring and grill. Up to 10 people are allowed in the single family sites.   Group sites ‘A’ and ‘B’ can have up to 20 people each. The group sites also have a parking area, shaded tables, BBQ pedestal, fire ring and grill. The vehicle size limit is 20 feet at the group sites.

North Klondike Campground – Area Recreation & Activities

Outdoor recreation in the area includes hiking, mountain biking, OHV trail riding, picnicking, stargazing and wildlife viewing.

The Klondike Bluffs trail system offers 50+ miles of singletrack mountain bike trails ranging from fast flowy single track to tight and technical riding opportunities. While mountain biking is the focus of this area, The North Klondike Campground is within easy reach of Arches and Canyonlands National Parks as well as hundreds of miles of 4×4, ATV, side-by-side and motorcycle trails.

Other campgrounds in the area include Courthouse Rock, Devils Garden (Arches National Park) and Lone Mesa Group.
