Oak Grove Campground offers 7 campsites along the banks of the Colorado River in a spectacular canyon with soaring sandstone cliffs. Campsites are first-come first-served.
The primitive campground does not have water, but it does have a delightful vault toilet. Each campsite also has a table, fire ring and grate. All sites have spectacular views of the river canyon. Campsites 5, 6 and 7 are walk-to tent campsites.
The area has plenty of outdoor recreation including rafting, kayaking, canoeing, fishing, hiking, mountain biking, picnicking and wildlife viewing. Rock climbing and OHV trial riding are also popular in the area.
Other campgrounds in the area include Big Bend, Upper Big Bend, Hal Canyon, Goose Island, Granstaff, and Drinks Canyon.
