Ponderosa Group Campground Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest Utah

Ponderosa Group Overview

Ponderosa Group Campground is located just off the Mirror Lake Scenic Byway and has 1 group site that accommodates up to 100 people.

The group campground is generally open mid May to mid September. Vault toilets are provided but potable (drinking) water is not available. The group site can have up to 20 vehicles (up to 37 feet long) and 100 people.  Campsite tables and fire pits are also provided. Cell service is not available in the area.

Other campgrounds in the area include Pine Valley Group, Lower Provo River, Shingle Creek ATV, Yellow Pine and Soapstone.

Popular outdoor recreation in the area includes fishing, hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, picnicking, ATV trail riding and wildlife viewing.
