Scofield State Park Mountain View campground has 34 single-family campsites and is located near the dam on the lake’s eastern shore. Most campsites have spectacular views of the lake. Campsites can accommodate tents, and smaller trailers and RVs.  This campground offers direct access to the reservoir and has a paved boat ramp and floating docks next to the campground. The campsites are set up in long, straight rows with some trees in each site for shade.

Campground amenities include drinking water, flush toilets, hot showers ($) and a dump station. There’s also a boat ramp, fishing cleaning station and dry storage. Firewood is also available for sale at the park.

Scofield State Park Mountain View – Area Recreation

Visitors can enjoy some great fishing and boating on the 2,800-acre lake. Other outdoor recreation includes hiking, biking, mountain biking, canoeing, kayaking, swimming, picnicking and wildlife viewing. You can also cross-country ski and snowmobile during the winter months.

Madsen Bay campground is also located in Scofield State Park.
