Singletree Campground has 31 single-family campsites and is located at among a Ponderosa pine and Aspen forest on the east side of Boulder Mountain.
This US Forest Service campground is very nice and is on highway 12 about 12 miles from Torrey, UT. Campsites 1, 2, 3, 4 and 6 are “multi-use”. The rest (5, 7-31) are single sites. There are two group sites (A & B). All sites are level and RV friendly.
Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs (35 to 40 feet). Each site also has a paved parking spur, table, fire ring and grate. Campground amenities include drinking water (numerous water spigots), flush toilets and a dump station. WiFi is also available for a fee. Cell service is poor.
Singletree Campground offers beautiful views of Capitol Reef National Park and the Henry Mountains. Fall colors are also great here. Outdoor activities include hiking, biking, sightseeing, wildlife viewing, photography, horseshoes and volleyball.
