Snow Canyon State Park Campground has 29 campsites (14 with water & electric) and is tucked amid lava flows and soaring sandstone cliffs in a strikingly colorful canyon. Two group sites are also available.
Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs (up to 150 feet). Each site also has a table, fire ring and grate.
The campground is open year-round and amenities include drinking water, flush toilets, hot showers and an RV dump station. There’s also a visitor center at the park.
Called a mini Zion – this beautiful canyon features red rock formations, hikes, sand dunes and hidden caves. The park consists of 5,738 acres at an elevation of 3,200 feet in southwestern Utah and is located within the 62,000 acre Red Cliffs Desert Reserve.
Outdoor activities include hiking, mountain biking, picnicking, horseback riding, OHVing and wildlife viewing. There are also a variety of hikes over the slick red rocks, as well as lava tubes and caves you can explore.
