Spruces Campground has 29 campsites and is located on the south shore of Navajo Lake in the Dixie National Forest. There are 24 single sites, one double site and 3 walk-to tent only sites. Campsites 3, 8, 9, 13, 18 and 25 are reservable, the rest are first-come, first serve.
Amenities include drinking water (hydrant), flush toilets and trash collection. Overflow parking is also available. Each campsite also has a fire ring and a picnic table.
The campground provides a spectacular setting for boating, camping, fishing, hiking, biking and photography. Boat rentals, launching, and cabin lodging are also available at nearby Navajo Lake Lodge. Cell service is poor in the area.
Outdoor recreation in the area includes boating, canoeing, kayaking, fishing, hiking, biking, picnicking and wildlife viewing. The popular Virgin Rim River Trail is located just .5 miles from the campground and is open to hiking, mountain biking and horseback riding.
