Trail Lake Campground Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest Utah

Trail Lake Overview

Trail Lake Campground has 60 campsites and is located next to Trail Lake in the Unita-Wasatch-Cache National Forest at an elevation of 9,500 feet. The campground is also just off the Mirror Lake Scenic Byway.

Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs. Parking spurs range in size from 15 to 100 feet. There are no hookups. Camp roads and parking spurs are paved. Each campsite has a table, fire ring and grill. Some sites also have tent pads.

Amenities include drinking water, vault toilets and trash collection. Firewood is also available to purchase from the camp host. Cell service is not available in the area.

Other campgrounds in the area include Lilly Lake, Lost Lake, Washington Lake, Moosehorn, Mirror Lake and Sulphur.

Area Recreation and Activities

Outdoor recreation in the area includes paddle boating (motors prohibited), canoeing, kayaking, paddle boarding, fishing, hiking, mountain biking, picnicking and wildlife viewing.
