The walk-to sites have a table, food storage locker and shade structure and range from about 20 feet to 300 feet from the parking area.

Campground/park amenities include an amphitheater, modern restrooms with  flush toilets, drinking water and a dump station. Laundry, groceries and gas are all available within one mile of the campground. Firewood is also available for sale at the park/campground. Cell service is good in the area.

South Campground is also nearby and open year round (reservations from mid March through November). And for a little secluded (tent) camping check out Lava Point Campground.

  1. Words can not describe the beauty of Watchman Campground. If you are looking for somewhere different and unique then this is it.

  2. There aren’t any bad spots here. You’re just surrounded by beauty.

  3. Watchman is SUPER beautiful. Amazing campground. Made a bad selection for sites. C17: nearly no shade at all, next to the bathroom where the jet engine hand dryer runs ALL night long, next to the Group Loop E where they party until the wee hours, and people wander through your site all day and night thinking it’s a bathroom path. C21, C22 seem nice. They’re kind of in the middle. C20 seems pretty chill too but it’s accommodation-friendly.

  4. it was so cool and awsome
