Wolf Creek Campground is located in the high Unita mountains and has 5 campsites in a forested area near the creek. There are 3 single-family campsites and to group campsites. All campsites are reservable. One group site can have up to 30 people and the other up to 60 people.
The campground is generally open late May to early September. Amenities include vault toilets and trash collection. Cell service is not available. Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs. Each site also has a table, fire ring and grill. The single family campsites have parking spurs about 15 feet long and the group sites have plenty of room (up to 99 feet) to park.
Other campgrounds in the area include Mill Hollow, Soapstone, Ponderosa Group Camp, Hades, Iron Mine, Pine Valley North Wasatch Cach, Aspen and Currant Creek.
Outdoor recreation in the area includes fishing, hiking, mountain biking, ATV trail riding, picnicking, stargazing and wildlife viewing. The 3.5-mile Trail Hollow Trail begins in the campground and offers great hiking into the West Fork of the Duchesne, offering unparalleled views of the surrounding Wasatch Range.
