Yellow Pine (Pine Valley, UT) Overview

Yellow Pine Campground (loop) has 6 campsites and is in the Pine Valley Recreation Area in a forest of large Ponderosa pine trees.  There are 5 single-family campsites (up to 8 people) and 1 double site (up to 16 people).

The campground is generally open late May to early September. Amenities include drinking water and vault toilets. Garbage disposal is not provided (please pack in / pack out trash). Cell service is poor in the area. Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs (up to 45 feet).

Other campgrounds (camping loops) in Pine Valley Recreation Area include Crackfoot, Ebenezer Bryce, Equestrian, Dean Gardner and Effie Beckstrom (Group). You might also like Mitt Moody Campground.

Area Recreation & Activities

Pine Valley is situated in the Pine Valley Mountains. A beautiful forest of Ponderosa pine and oak covers the area, offering partial shade. Mountain mahogany, juniper and sagebrush dot the landscape.  Outdoor recreation in the area includes fishing, hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, picnicking, stargazing and wildlife viewing.
