Claytor Lake State Park Campground is located next to beautiful Clayton Lake and has 106 single-family (mixed-used) campsites (59 with 30-amp hookups). There are also cabins, a bunkhouse and lodging rooms for rent.
Campsites are suitable for tents, trailers and RVs. Each campsite also has a table, fire ring and grill.
Campground amenities include drinking water, flush toilets, hot showers and a dump station. There’s also a boat launch, boat rentals, gift shop, conference center, playground, picnic area and visitor center.
Recreation in the area includes boating, canoeing, kayaking, fishing, swimming, water sports, biking, hiking, horseshoes, picnicking and wildlife viewing.
