looking for extended stay, until DEC. What would a full hook up sight cost? 35ft brand new trailer. Thanks
Hi Mike,
Mathews Arm Campground does not have any hookups. RV sites are limited to 1 RV and 1 vehicle (up to 6 people). Generators can be used in campsites designated for generators between 8AM and 10AM / 4PM to 7PM. Stays are limited up to 30 days during the calendar year. You can go to the camping page (HERE) and click on the ‘Make A Reservation’ button to check availability, rates and make a reservation.
Good afternoon,
We stayed here two weekends ago – great place. You advised my wife to call you to check on the REAL up to date availability of back-in RV spots.
May I call you directly to discuss coming in again Friday evening 8/31??
Where do I go to find that # please?
Hi George,
The phone number we have for Mathews Arm campground is: 540 999-3132
Is there a way to correlate the campsite photos with the actual campsite numbers? In the park’s campground map, each site is marked with a letter (A, B, C) based upon which road / loop its on… Can’t seem to tell which photo correlates to which specific campsite here! Awesome photos otherwise, though, but would love to scope out what the reserved sites look like.
Hi Emmm,
Thanks for your suggestion!
We will rename the photos with the correct A-B-C designation.
Hey there, any chance the photos will get updated soon with the site names? That would be helpful!
Also, any ideas where I can research campsites in greater depth? We have a large tent (no RV) and would seek out a site with a bit more privacy vs one that’s right next to a neighbor. It’s hard to tell which sites would be good for us.
Hi Dusty,
We may have a photographer that will be reshooting Mathews Arm over the summer.
Also, generally the website that handles the reservations for the campground will provide more detail on campsites – like the size of the site/parking pad, etc. For example, Recreation.gov takes care of reservations at Mathews Arm. Hope this helps!
