Peaks of Otter Campground has 143 campsites located close to Abbot Lake and is nestled between three mountains near the Peaks Of Otter Recreation Area. A crystal-clear mountain stream also winds through the campground

Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs. Each site also has a table, lantern post, fire ring and grill. Old-growth hardwood trees also provide nice shade to most sites. Cell service is poor in the area.

Amenities include drinking water (water spigots), flush toilets, trash recycling and a dump station. There’s also a visitor center, general store, day-use/picnic area and some nice hiking trails including those to Harkening Hill (3,372 feet), Sharp Top Mountain (3,875 feet), and Flat Top Mountain with a summit of 4,001 feet.
