Half Moon Pond State Park Campground has 63 campsites (including 11 lean-to sites) and 5 cabins tucked around Half Moon Pond.  Several of the campsites are waterfront! Group camping is also available.

The campground has flush toilets, hot showers ($) and a dump station. Each campsite has a table, fire ring and grill. The campground also has a camp store that sells firewood, ice, groceries and supplies. There’s also a picnic area, playground, horseshoes, volleyball court and visitor center.

Half Moon Pond State Park is actually located within Bomoseen State Park. So it’s a park within a park! Outdoor activities include boating (rentals available – canoe, kayak, rowboats and pedal), fishing, hiking, mountain biking, wildlife viewing, camping, swimming, picnicking, horseshoes, volleyball and water sports. Motorized watercraft are not allowed on Half Moon Pond, but they are allowed on nearby Lake Bomoseen.

Bomoseen State Park is also has a campground nearby. It has 65 campsites for tents, trailers and RVs.
