Little River State Park Overview

Little River State Park Campground has 101 campsites and is located is next to Waterbury Reservoir in Mt. Mansfield State Forest.

The campground has 81 campsites for tents, trailers and RVs. There area also 20 lean-to sites and 5 cabins. Each campsite also has a table, fire ring and grate. There are no hookups, but the campground does have drinking water, flush toilets, hot showers ($) and a sanitary dump station. Group camping is also available as are 27 remote/primitive campsites along the Waterbury Reservoir shoreline.

Area Recreation & Activities

Little River State Park has swimming beaches, play areas, a boat launch, hiking trails, mountain bike trails, picnic/day use areas, a ball field, and boat rentals for campers.  Boating , canoeing, kayaking and fishing are also very popular on the reservoir.

Elmore State Park is just 29 miles to the north and has a nice campground with 60 campsites.
