Moosalamoo Campground Green Mountain & Finger Lakes National Forests Vermont

Moosalamoo Overview

Moosalamoo Campground has 19 campsites at the base of Mt. Moosalamoo and near Voter Brook.

Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and small RVs (up to 20 feet). Each site has parking spur (for 2 cars), table, fire ring and grill. Campground amenities include drinking water (hand pump), vault toilets and trash collection. There is also an open play field in the middle of the campground, as well as a mile-long bicycle pump track. Cell service is poor in the area.

Other campgrounds in the area include Silver Lake and Chittenden Brook.

Area Recreation & Activities

Outdoor recreation in the area includes hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, picnicking and wildlife viewing. Cross-country skiing and snowmobiling are also popular in the winter.
