Bedal Campground Mt. Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest Washington

Bedal Overview

Bedal Creek Campground has 22 campsites and is next to the North Fork Sauk River in and old growth forest. Seven sites are river front and all can hear the rushing water.

Campsites are large and can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs. Each site also has a parking spur (ranging in size from 24 to 32 feet), tent pad, table, fire ring and grill. Sites 6, 8, 9, 10, 11 and 14 have wheelchair access (ASA). Riverfront campsites include 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17 and 22.

Campground amenities include a camp host, firewood ($), vault toilets and trash collection. There’s also 2 boat/river launches and a picnic shelter built out of old-growth timber at the campground. Cell service is not available in the area.

Bedal Creek Campground – Area Recreation & Activities

Outdoor recreation in the area includes whitewater rafting, kayaking, fishing, hiking, mountain biking, picnicking and wildlife viewing. On a clear day visitors can spot Mt. Baker, the most prominent feature of the Mt. Baker Wilderness Area. Rising to an elevation of 10,781 feet, this active volcano is perpetually snow-capped and mantled with an extensive network of creeping glaciers.

Other campgrounds in the area include Beaver Creek Group, Coal Creek Group, Clear Creek, Buck Creek and Red Bridge.
