Great place, great amenities, low rates.
Sounds fabulous and I want to come. Best time to see the falls?
Cowlitz Falls are probably going strong April through June.
I’m getting ready to reserve my site for 2024! Thanks for everything campsite photos big fan
And thanks for your kind words/support (being a fan)!
Ok, this place booked completely full for the entire season in about 10 minutes, new years eve. One of those wierd systems where the entire year is released 1/1/2024 12:01am. I was booking Salt Creek, and by the time I was done checking out it was over. This campground is apparently super popular!
That is a bummer you were not able to get a campsite at Cowlitz Falls. You’re right – it’s extremely popular. Hopefully one will open up (cancellation).
Hi Camp Ranger,
Appreciate the sentiment, but it looks like the system was borked or something, as of 1/8/2024 availability is wide open for open weekend.
Other than the second weekend of the season, lots of availability!
The camplife cooking system no doubt was stressed at time of booking. Happy to book a May camping date!
Interesting!
