Deception Pass State Park Cranberry Lake Campground has 230 campsites and is located on north Whidbey Island next to Cranberry Lake. The beach & ocean are nearby as well. There are 147 tent site and also 83 partial hookup sites (up to 60 feet). Hiker/biker sites and group camping are also available.
Campground amenities include drinking water, flush toilets, 10 hot showers ($) and 2 dump stations. There’s also an amphitheater, playground, picnic areas, miles of mixed-used trails. Firewood is also available for sale from the camp host.
Two other camping areas in the park are Bowman Bay (18 tent sites and 2 utility sites) and Quarry Pond (7 tent sites and 49 utility sites).
Deception Pass State Park is extremely popular and includes 3,854 acres, 77,000 feels of saltwater shorelines and 33,900 of freshwater shoreline on three lakes. The area offers a variety of places to explore including the beach, coves, and old-growth forests. Outdoor recreation includes boating, kayaking, becoming, sailing, fishing, crabbing, swimming, diving, hiking, biking, picnicking, and horseback riding. Wildlife viewing is also spectacular here.

Bowman Bay, within Deception Pass State Park, is simply wonderful! The views in sites 280, and 282 will not disappoint. Back-in, standard site. We had an F-150 long bed and a 27″ pop-up with slide out. Plenty of room to spare.
