Dosewallips State Park Campground has 123 campsites (48 with hookups) and 12 cabins located along the Dosewallips River near where it enters the Hood Canal. All camp areas are grassy and located in scenic, rustic settings.
Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs. There are 48 with RV hookups and 75 tent campsites. Campground amenities include drinking water, 4 restrooms (flush toilets/water), showers (tokens for sale at vending machine), trash collection and a dump station. Firewood is also available to purchase at the Ranger station. The campground is open year round, but is winterized from December 1 through March 1 (only sites 21-29 have water hookups).
Cabins
The 12 cabins at Dosewallips are situated among evergreen trees looking towards the Olympic Mountains. Each cabin is 10-by-26-feet in size and features a 6-foot covered front porch, electric heat, lights, and locking doors. Cabins have a bunk that sleeps 3 people and a futon that sleeps 2 people. No cooking facilities inside the cabins. Bathrooms and showers are also nearby. Outside is a picnic table and fire grill. Cabins C1 thru C5 and C76 are pet-friendly. Cabins C1 and C75 are ADA.
Collins Campground is also in the area.
Outdoor recreation in the area includes boating, kayaking, canoeing, fishing, crabbing, clamming, swimming, water sports, hiking, biking and picnicking. Wildlife viewing is also great with opportunities to see elk herds. There nearest boat ramp/launch is located at Triton Cove State Park.
