Federation Forest State Park Overview

Federation Forest State Park is a day-use park next to the White River with hundreds of acres of old-growth trees and kid-friendly hiking trails. Pack a picnic and bring your family for a relaxing afternoon under the cool forest canopy.

Outdoor recreation includes fishing, hiking, biking, picnicking and wildlife viewing. There’s also interpretive and visitor centers you can visit. Amenities include drinking water, restrooms (flush), picnic tables/shelters, BBQ grills, an amphitheater and trash service.

Campgrounds in the area include The Dalles and Silver Springs.
