Fort Casey State Park is a 1000-acre marine/historic camping park located on Whidbey Island on Puget Sound. The Park features the remains of historic Fort Casey which was built in the late 1800s and used up through World War II. Fort Casey State park campground has 35 campsites for tents, trailers and RVs (up to 40 feet). There are 14 partial hookup sites with water & electric hookups including 17-20 and 26-35. Four of the hookup sites are beachfront/pull-through. Each campsite also has a table, fire ring and grate.
The campground has drinking water, flush toilets, showers, campfire center and firewood for sale from the campground host.
In addition to Fort Casey, visitors can tour other historic sites such as the Admiralty Head Lighthouse (open seasonally). There’s also over 1.8 miles of hiking trails and 10,000 feet of saltwater shoreline you can explore. In addition, the Park has a store, gift shop, 2 watercraft launches and picnic/day-use areas.

Are there any trailer sites available from Oct 19th until Oct 21st, 2018?

Fort Casey State Park campground is first-come, first-served. There should be availability Oct 19-21, but we recommend you arrive by around noon if you can (check in is 2pm). You may also want to try calling the Park/campground directly for any advice: 360 226-7688. Have a great time!
FYI…Fort Casey is a reservation park, used to be first come, but not anymore.

We understand that there is one bathhouse with showers at Fort Casey State Park. We’re not sure how many shower stalls there are, but recommend you calling the park directly to find out: 360 678-7688

Can anyone tell me whether Campsite #3 (RV) has water AND/OR electricity hookups? We have a reservation for the site this week, and not sure what to expect. Thanks!

The Fort Casey State Park campsites with partial hookups (electric and water) include 17-20 and 26-35. You can click on the ‘Make A Reservation’ button from the campground page to check availability, pricing and make a reservation.
Just stayed at Fort Casey campground. A few observations:
The showers are coin operated, 50 cents for 3 minutes. Bring quarters as there’s nowhere close by to make change.
The bathrooms are spotless! Can’t recall ever being to a park that had such clean facilities.
My campsite had blacktop underneath a thin layer of soil. Was unable to stake down my tent because of this.
Firewood and ice are purchased using the same pay envelopes for registering your stay at the campground. There are no fields on the envelope to indicate Your interest in purchasing ice or firewood, so just write how much of each you would like on the envelope. A park employee will deliver them to your campsite. As of July 2020 ice costs $3/bag and firewood is $7/bundle. Exact change required!
I found some air buds on the beach near the campground below the fort. I have them and wonder if there have been any inquiries regarding them ?
is there anyway that i could visit one of the homes that my sister in law’s grandma lived in? The house was located at the end of the paved road where all the big houses were. Thanks

Hello!
We have reservations for campsite 18 with our trailer in the spring but notice there is not a dump station in the park. Is there a dump station close by or between Fort Casey and the ferry? We’d prefer to not use Deception Pass and have to drive around the island if we can avoid it. Thank you!
