Joemma Beach State Park is a beautiful 122-acre marine/camping park on Key Peninsula in the middle of South Puget Sound. The campground and has 24 campsites including 19 for tents, trailers and RVs (up to 40 feet), as well as 3 hike/bike (tent only), and 2 water trail sites. The water trail sites can only be accessed by wind and/or human-powered water craft.
The park is open year-round but camping is available from May 1 to October 15.
Amenities include drinking water, vault toilets and trash collection. The park also has a full moorage dock, fishing pier, a boat launch/ramp, boat trailer parking, a picnic/day use area, hiking and biking trails. Cell service is fair in the area.
Outdoor recreation includes boating, fishing, boating, crabbing, sailing, beachcombing, kayaking, canoeing, biking, hiking, metal detecting, scuba diving, swimming and picnicking. Wildlife viewing is also great with opportunities to see seals, deer, raccoons, fox and several species of birds.
