La Wis Wis Campground has 113 campsites (including 1 group site) and is located next to the junction of the Clear Fork of the Cowlitz and Ohanapecosh Rivers in Gifford Pinchot National Forest.  Most campsites are reservable, but some are first come first serve.

Campsites are set among an old growth stand of Douglas Fir, Hemlock and Cedar. Most sites are large and have nice privacy. They can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs (from 18 to 40 feet). Each campsite also has a table, fire ring and grate. Campground amenities include potable (drinking water), vault toilets, trash recycling and overflow parking. A ranger station and camp host are also on site. Firewood is available for purchase at the campground. Cell service is not available.

Area Recreation & Activities

Outdoor recreation in the area includes fishing, fly fishing, hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, OHV trail riding, picnicking and wildlife viewing.
